Example: Completed New Course Request Form

This example shows a new Biology course that was developed based on "transfer". BIOL 50 (Human Genetics) is being proposed for multiple articulation consideration: UC Transfer, CSUGE/IGETC and Major Prep.

Justification:

- A comparable UC course was identified: UC Berkeley's MCELLBIOL 41

- GE Areas were identified: CSUGE B2; IGETC 5B
(note: though justification is not required at this time, you may be asked by the Committee to explain how the course meets specified GE criteria)

- College/Major was identified with the comparable 4-year course being used as a major prep requirement: UCB/Psychology, Public Health
